Crabs in coconut milk
Ginataang Alimasag recipe

Ingredients:
2 large alimasag crabs
2 cans coconut milk (4 cups)
minced garlic
chopped onion
ginger
2-3 tbsp bagoong alamang(shrimp paste)
ground black pepper
salt
long green chili pepper
spinach
1 tbsp cooking oil
Clean crabs and drain
Cut each crab in two pieces
Heat oil in a cooking pan
Saute garlic and onion
Add bagoong stir-saute all ingredients
Add coconut milk,salt, pepper and ginger
Bring to a boil,cook - stir until thickens
Add alimasag / crabs
Let boil until crabs turn red
Add long green chili
Cover and simmer for few minutes
Add spinach then cover again
Simmer for just few second
Taste and correct seasoning before serving

"Yakisoba"
Yakisoba noodles is very popular in Japan, it is so simple,quick and easy to prepare,Yakisoba is a stir- fried noodles cooked with pork or shrimps and some vegetables, seasoned with yakisoba sauce and served with garnish of powdered seaweeds (nori) bonito flakes (katsuoboshi) and pickled ginger (beni shoga)...
Yakisoba recipe

Ingredients:
3 packs yakisoba noodles
(150 grams x 3)
150 grams thinly sliced pork
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
40 grams carrot (sliced
3 pieces shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
200 grams cabbage (cut into square pieces)
1 tbsp cooking oil
Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sake
Garnish
powdered seaweeds (nori)
bonito flakes (katsuoboshi)
pickled ginger (beni shoga)
Heat oil in a pan,and fry the pork
when pork changed color add garlic
saute until garlic lightly bron
add onion stir until become translucent
add carrots and mushrooms stir
Add Cabbage, saute all ingredients
Add yakisoba noodles stir thoroughly
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce
and sake to make yakisoba sauce
Pour sauce mixture into yakisoba noodles
Stir and mix well until noodles colored
and most o the broth absorbed
Turn off the heat
Transfer Yakisoba noodles into
serving plate, serve hot, garnished with
powdered seaweed, bonito flakes
and pickled ginger! ITADAKIMASU!

"Pork Shogayaki"(ginger flavored pork)
Shogayaki is one of very popular and favorite Japanese Food dish, it is a pan fried pork flavored with ginger sauce consist of grated ginger (shoga), garlic, soy sauce and sugar,
Pork Shogayaki recipe
Ingredients:
250 grams thinly sliced pork
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sake
1 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp sugar
ground black pepper
1 tsp cooking oil
Side Dish
shredded cabbage
mini toatoes
Season pork with ground black pepper
Set aside
In a bowl, combine grated ginger, garlic,
sake, mirin and sugar mix well
Heat oil in a pan
Fry the pork over medium heat
Flip over to cook the other side o pork
Cook until golden brown
Pour the sauce mixture
Lower the heat and continue cooking
for few seconds until the pork completely
absorbed the flavor of the sauce
Turn off the heat to prevent drying
don't over cooked the pork
Transfer to a serving bowl with side dish
of shredded cabbage and mini tomatoes
Now delicious SHOGAYAKI is done!

"Soboro Bento"
Soboro is a popular Japanese dish ith a combination of ground meat and crumbled egg, today I made a simple and easy Soboro Bento (lunch box) consist o ground chicken and crumbled eggs seasoned with soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar..
Soboro Bento recipe

Ingredients:
150 grams ground chicken
2 raw eggs
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sake
1 tsp mirin
1 tbsp sugar
boiled string beans (cut into strips)
Heat pan and lightly rub with oil
Place ground meat in a pan seasoned
with soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar
Cook over low heat, stirring continuously
until formed into small pieces and cooked
Rub cooking pan lightly with oil
beat the eggs and add salt and sugar
pour in a cooking pan
Cook in a low heat with non stop stirring
Cook, stir and crumble the eggs
Prepare steamed rice in a lunch box
Arrange soboro meat and crumbled egg
on both sides
Place boiled string beans in center of

"Takoyaki"
Takoyaki is very popular in Japan, it is a ball shape Japanese favorite snack which is creamy inside and little crisp outside, it is made of takoyaki batter mixture consist of flour,Japanese dashi (soup stock),raw egg and soy sauce,it is typically filled with boiled / diced tako (octopus) and adding some vegetable ingredients then cooked and grilled in Takoyaki pan,Takoyaki served with takoyaki sauce and garnish with powdered seaweed (aonori), katsuoboshi (bonito flakes) and optionally add mayonnaise for yummy, tasty and delicious TAKOYAKI...
Takoyaki recipe

Ingredients::
1 cup all purpose lour
1 cup boiled octopus (diced)
2 cups cold dashi (soup stock)
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 raw egg
cabbage chopped
green onion (chopped)
pickled ginger (Japanese beni shonga)
bonito flakes (katsuoboshi)
powdered seaweed (aonori)
takoyaki sauce
mayonnaise (optional)
cooking oil
In a large bowl combine flour,salt
and dashi, mix well to combine
Add egg and continue mixing until smooth
Heat the takoyaki pan for about 230 Celsius
brush with oil, make sure to distribute oil
around the cooking hot grill pan
Stir the Takoyaki batter first
Then pour mixture into the holes
Place boiled octopus (tako) immediately
in the center of each hole
Add finely chopped cabbage
Pickled ginger (Japanese beni shonga)
chopped green onion
and bonito flakes
When the takoyaki begins to cook
turn it over by using bamboo skewers
continue the same process
Until shape them into balls
Continue cooking for e minutes until
takoyaki turn golden brown and smooth
When it's done place in a serving plate
add takoyaki sauce and garnish with
bonito flakes and powdered seaweed
then add mayonnaise on top,,,
