Jollibee's latest addition Ube Pie is a golden crispy crust pastry with creamy and delicious ube (purple yam) filling, Today I made my own version of my homemade Ube Pie with ube halaya filling (purple yam jam) it is really perfect! choice for snack / merienda time, give a try and ENJOY!

Ingredients:
For Pie crust
250 grams all purpose flour
80 grams unsalted cold butter
2 tbsp white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3 -5 tbsp cold water
For Filling
Ube Halaya (purple yam)ube jam
1 beaten egg for egg wash
cooking oil for frying
