Ginisang Patola with Misua

Ingredients:
2 medium sized sponge gourd (patola)
(peeled and sliced)
200 grams shrimps
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup chopped onions
1 roll misua (wheat noodle)
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup water
1 cup shrimps juice (from heads and shells)
ground black pepper
salt
scallions ((optional)
Heat oil in a sauce pan
Saute garlic until lightly brown
Add onions,stir until translucent
Add shrimps and stir fry for 1 minute
Season with salt and pepper and patis
Then mix well
Pour in shrimps juice, stir and bring to a boil
Add patola,
Add more water if necessary
Cover and simmer for few seconds
Do not overcook the patola
Add misua, cook for just few seconds
Continue to cook from their own heat
even after the heat is turned off
Served with thinly sliced scallions
