Kutsinta sa Bilao recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
6 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp lye water
2 tbsp anato water
2 cups water
fresh grated coconut
In a mixing bowl, combine flour,
cornstarch and brown sugar, mix well
Add 2 cups of water and 1 tsp lye water
mix until with wire whisk until well blended
Add 2 tbsp anato water
(anato powder dissolved in water)
stir until smooth
Strain mixture
Prepare steamer lined with parchment paper
lightly rub with oil
Cover and steamed for about 40 to 45 minutes
let cool before cutting
When it cool transfer the kutsinta in bilao
(shallow bamboo basket)lined with a pieces
of fresh banana leaves,cut with desired
shape or size
serve with fresh grated coconut
