Curry is one of very popular dish in Japan, it is usually eaten with rice and they called it CURRY RICE, it's very simple and easy to cook curry rice at home using curry sauce mix with different flavors which can be found at any super market or grocery stores in Japan,This Curry Rice dish is considered as one of simple but tasty and wholesome meal.
Curry Rice recipe

Ingredients:
300 grams pork curry sauce mix
4 medium size potatoes (180 grams)
2 medium size carrots 5-6 cups water
1 large onion 1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp grated garlic (optional)0
ground black pepper string beans
salt eggplant
soup stock
Heat oil in the cooking pan or pot
Saute garlic and onion
Add pork and stir
Seasoned with pepper and salt
Stir until pork change in color
Pour 4 to 5 cups of water and cover
until pork tender
Add potatoes, carrots, onions
and soup stock
Cover again and continue cooking
until done
Add curry sauce mix
Stir continuously until broth
completely disolved
Add lightly boiled eggplant
and string beans (optional)
Serve with white steamed rice
Now our curry rice is done!

"Deep-Fried Shishamo Fish"
Shishamo Fish is common in Japan, it is a small soft dried fish with a lots of eggs and soft bones that's can be eaten from head to tail, this smelt fish is so nutritious, tasty and delicious and good source for calcium,,,
Deep-Fried Shishamo fish

Ingredients:
10 to 12 shishamo fish Side Dish:
2 eggs fresh vegetables
2 tbsp milk (green salads)
ground black pepper mini tomatoes
cooking oil Worcestershire sauce
flour Tartar sauce
bread crumbs garlic / vinegar sauce
season fish with ground black pepper
combine eggs and milk in a bowl
beat well
dip shishamo fish in beaten eggs
and milk mixture
heat oil in deep pan or woke
fry all shishamo fish until golden brown
fry fish in medium heat
serve with choice or favorite sauce

"Abraw / Inabraw
Abraw dish is native to Ilocos region, this Ilocano recipe consisting of several types of vegetables stewed in small amount of water and seasoned with anchovy paste (bagoong na isda) is very simple and easy to prepare, but healthy and taste really good vegetable dish...

Ingredients:
1 bundle of saluyot (mallow leaves)
1 large ampalaya (bitter melon)
bataw (wild beans)
kamote (sweet potato
talong (egg plant)
okra
fried fish (any kind)
sibuyas (onion)
kamatis (tomato
bagoong na isda (anchovy paste)
water
place fried fish in a deep cooking pan or pot
add vegetables except saluyot and ampalaya
add tomatoes and bagoong ( anchovy paste)
add 1 cup of water
cover and bring to a boil
cook for 5 to 7 minutes
add saluyot and ampalaya
cover and continue cooking
for few seconds
add bagoong according to taste
cover again and simmer for few seconds
remove from the heat, cover and let stand
for 1 or 2 minutes before serving
dish should have very little broth
when cooked

"Chicken Caldareta"

Spicy Chicken Caldareta recipe

Ingredients:
1 kilo of chicken ( whole chicken)
2 cups coconut milk (gata)
2 tbsp vinegar bay leaves
2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce soup stock
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce star anise
3 tbsp liver spread hot chili pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic ground black
1/2 cup onion chopped pepper
1 cup tomato chopped salt
1 red bell pepper water
4 medium size potatoes cooking oil
2 medium size carrots
marinate chicken with soy sauce
lemon juice, ground black pepper
and salt, marinate for an hour
In cooking pan saute garlic, onion,
and tomatoes
Add chicken stir, simmer covered
for at least 2 minutes
Add spices
add red bell pepper
add water
cover and simmer for 5 minutes,
add liver spread, and simmer
again in a low / medium heat
add potatoes and carrots, cover and simmer
for 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken
is tender
add remaining red bell pepper and green peas,
turn off the heat, now our Caldareta is done!

"Adobong Kangkong"
Adobong Kangkong is a simple and easy to cook, but healthy vegetable dish,Kankong or water spinach simmered in vinegar, soy sauce and other spices, adding fresh or canned squid makes this recipe more tasty and delicious...
Ingredients:
2 bundles of kangkong
250 grams fresh or canned squid
2-3 tbsp vinegar
2-3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup onion chopped
2-3 tbsp water
1 tbsp cooking oil
Heat oil in cooing pan
Saute garlic, onion and squid, stir
Add liquid from canned squid, vinegar,
soy sauce,salt and ground black pepper
Cover and simmer for few seconds
Add seasoning according to own taste
then add kankong
Cover and simmer again for few seconds
Don''t over cooked Kangkong
