Pinangat na Isda is one of my favorite Filipino fish dish, it is very simple and easy to prepare with only few ingredients consist of your choice of fish simmered with tamarind or camias, tomatoes and some spices, but since there's no fresh tamarind or camias to be found here in my place I used Sinigang Broth or Tamarind Soup Base,the result is good taste, delicious and healthy Pinangat Dish recipe, pleave give a try and Enjoy!
Pinangat na Isda recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo of fish (your choice: tilapia
(sapsap, hasa hasa, ayungin .....)
1 cup tomatoes (sliced)
ginger (sliced)
1 tsp salt
3 pieces long green chili pepper
2 tbsp Sinigang broth soup base mix
( fresh tamarind or camias)
2 cups water
Combine all ingredients in a cooking pot
Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat
simmer for 10 to 15 minutes,
taste and correct seasoning,cover again
and reduce the heat and simmer for
another 5 minutes until sauce a little
reduced too.
